A former 16th-century seminary built on the site of an ancient Inca palace in Cusco, the Monasterio is certainly a hotel with history.

X FACTOR
The original 16th-century structure has largely been preserved and the Monasterio is now a protected building, considered a showcase for colonial Renaissance architecture.

ROOMS
The 126 rooms are decorated in a mix of modern and colonial styles and no two are alike. You can choose an oxygen-enriched room if the altitude is getting to you.
