Peligoni is a lovely, fully staffed villa in an excellent location within walking distance of Mykonos town. There are views of Korfos Bay from the enormous pool terrace with its shady, glassed-in pergolas covered in bougainvillaea and jasmine and there
is a children's treehouse in the landscaped grounds. Not trendsetting by Mykonos standards, it is nonetheless stylishly furnished with Oriental touches and is generously proportioned, with an open-plan living/dining/kitchen. Two bedrooms lead off
the living room, while upstairs there is a master bedroom with a private terrace and
en-suite bathroom. Outside is a sweet guest cottage with a bathroom, kitchenette and two very small but charming bedrooms. There are polished wood floors
and air conditioning, Internet access and cable television. Two full-time staff prepare meals and barbecues and keep the house immaculate. There is a steep descent
to the beach below; alternatively it's a short drive to Ornos (with a boat service to the main tourist beaches), Psarou (fashionable with wealthy Athenians),
or quieter Agios Ioannis.
